Diablo 4 is building up to be one of the biggest titles of the year as it plans to release on both current and last-generation consoles with support for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and Xbox One as well as PC, making it an excellent offering for cross-play and cross-platform progression – though you can choose to get ahead of the curve if you go for some of the more expensive options which can give u a full 4-day lead on some of your peers who get to play at the launch date of June 5th (US time).
There are currently 3 different versions of Diablo 4 on offer, each with preorder bonuses, and the latter 2 offer faster access to the game with the standard edition offering cosmetics in 3 other Activision Blizzard titles (Diablo 3, World of Warcraft, Diablo Immortal) as well as two pre-purchase bonuses for the game itself including an exclusive mount and armour.
The Diablo 4 Standard Edition: The Entrée
The standard edition of Diablo 4 comes with 3 preorder bonuses for other Blizzard titles as well as 2 for the base game while allowing you to preload to play at the official launch date for the title (June 5th US time, June 6th EU time). While it does sting somewhat to not be able to get early access to Diablo 4 despite paying the full $70, it does happen to be the most economical of all 3 preorder choices we have for Diablo IV currently.
The preorder bonuses include the following in-game cosmetic bonuses for other titles:
1: The Inarius Wings & Inarius Murloc Pet
This is a digital-only Diablo III skin that can only currently be obtained by purchasing a standard copy or higher of the game.
The Amalgam of Rage Mount In World of Warcraft
This is a mount unlocked and displayed as a ‘Diablo IV promotion in World of Warcraft
Umber Winged Darkness Cosmetics Set in Diablo Immortal
This is a unique cosmetic set available for people who prepurchase Diablo IV and also play Diablo Immortal.
This is in addition to two in-game cosmetics that are also available for all players that preorder Diablo IV namely the light-bearer mount and the Caparison of Faith Mount Armor.
It must be noted that the Diablo 4 Standard Edition copies are available in both physical and digital variants for consoles with both the PlayStation and Xbox versions being cross-gen, making it a simple upgrade choice down the line. PC owners however must resort to buying the game online only on Activision Blizzard’s Battle.Net store.
